KLB moved to Batu Ceper, Tangerang, operating two melting furnaces of 3.5 tonnes each and one production conveyor.
In 1998, our company officially changed its name from KLB to PT Alumindo Alloy Abadi. This change marked a new chapter in the company’s journey as a manufacturer of aluminum alloy ingots, with an identity that better reflects our business focus and our commitment to quality. The name Alumindo Alloy Abadi, which combines the spirit of aluminum, Indonesia, and sustainability, has been the foundation for the company’s growth to this day in serving the needs of the manufacturing, automotive industries, electronic home appliance and construction.
Ingot and deoxidant (pellet) production began with two melting furnaces of 10 tonnes each in Tambun, Bekasi.
Alumindo Alloy Abadi received its ISO 9001:2000 quality management certificate from TÜV Rheinland.

Plant II added in the KIIC industrial estate, West Karawang.

Plant III added in the MM2100 industrial estate, Cibitung, Bekasi. A new chapter in service, our first shipment of liquid/molten aluminium.

In 2026, our Cikarang plant officially began operations, expanding production capacity and strengthening Alumindo’s service to our customers.
