AC4A is an aluminium alloy of the Al-Si-Mg system from the AC series (JIS H 5202).

Characteristics

Strong response to T6 heat treatment
Corrosion resistant and weldable
Good pressure tightness

Typical Applications

Cylinder heads and intake manifolds
Hydraulic cylinders and pump housings
Compressor housings
